  I recently had my oak floors refinished by J&R Floors. They were very professional to work with. They have been refinishing floors for many years so they can walk you through the different options as far as stain color, finish (gloss vs satin) and water vs oil base. What I liked most about the job was the Bona products they used. I went with a two part Bona Traffic HD satin finish. This is a very durable product that will last longer than a standard one part water based polyurethane. J&R filled in all the gaps on the floors and also did a repair on one section that blends seamlessly. J&R explain with this product down the road if the floors get scuffed or scratched they can do a light buff and apply one coat to make the floors look new again. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. They were recommended to me by a friend that used them and I definitely recommend them for your floor refinishing.
